Rule Aviation Services,
Inc
Welcome to Rule Aviation Services, Inc the most
experienced and knowledgeable Rotax Repair Station and Light Sport Aircraft
maintenance shop in the
Pacific Northwest
. We started out as a small Rotax 2 stroke
engine shop and called it Rainier Ultra Light Engines, because looking out the
door to the hanger Mt. Rainier is the view to the east. After the Light
Sport Aircraft regulations came into effect we decided that the "Ultra
Light" part of our name didn't convey the whole range of our
services. Also many of you called to ask if we worked on other than ultralight. So we changed the name to Rule Aviation Services, R.U.L.E.
to remind us of our roots in ultralight engines and Aviation Services to
let our customers know we are a full service shop.
We are located on the Flying H
Estates private airpark in
Buckley,
Washington
which is about 10 miles east of Tacoma,
Washington. Rule
Aviation Services,
Inc is
dedicated to providing for all your Rotax engine and Light Sport Aircraft
maintenance, repair, annual condition inspection and 100 hour inspection needs
on SLSA and ELSA aircraft. We have a certified Light Sport Repairman/maintenance rating with Airplane, Weight shift and Powered
Parachute classes. We provide high quality 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine
and Light Sport Aircraft service. We have a full service shop and can
provide fast turnaround times minimizing your down time. The shop rates
are competitive and I am available any time for consultation and tech support.
I will give you a
realistic evaluation of your engine or aircraft and its needs.
Rule Aviation Services, Inc. is equipped with a complete line of the
latest Rotax tools to disassemble and reassemble your engine properly.
We recently purchased cylinder boring and honing equipment. This
will allow us to do cylinder boring and honing in house to keep quality control
to the highest standards. We do everything from minor service to full overhauls
of 447, 501, 503, 505, 582 and 912 series engines, which
brings your engine back to factory specs. We also adjust and fine tune your gearbox and can make repairs on cracked
exhaust systems. We have a
complete machine shop to make specialty tools and fabricate parts when the need arises. I treat each and
every engine I work on as if it were my personal powerplant and take the utmost
care in all aspects of any service, repair or overhaul.
All work is guaranteed to perform as good as or better
than factory new. Only genuine Rotax
parts are used and all work is performed in strict accordance with Rotax repair
manual specifications and the various service letters, bulletins and instructions.
The one of the most common causes of Light Sport Aircraft engine failures is not
following the scheduled maintenance recommended by the manufacturer. Their
recommendations are based on hundreds of thousands of hours of engine
operation. They know what is going to happen during the course of an
engine run. Aviation safety is based on Preventative
Maintenance, not "fix when it breaks".
If you want the best care for your aircraft and 2 or 4 stroke engine, call
Rule Aviation Services, Inc.
