READ the following carefully!  It will save us both time.

Fax only the following 4 items:
1. Front page only of form 8130-6 SIGNED and DATED!!
2. For a kit built aircraft the 8130-15 statement of compliance for a kit aircraft.
3. Weight and Balance for airplanes or Weight and Loading for Trikes and PPCs.
4. Registration certificate or Temporary Registration.... NOT THE PINK COPY  or N-NUMBER RESERVATION.
DO NOT fax photos of your plane or inspections checklists!
I will need three original photos: front, side and rear views when I do your inspection.  They must be photos of your aircraft ready to inspect with N-numbers applied not drawings out of the manual.

Please read the "How to certify your Experimental Light Sport Aircraft" guide below.  There are very important things contained in those instructions.

There are no more ELSA certifications for previous ultralight trainers.  The only ELSA certifications now will be those given to a kit built aircraft.  The kit manufacturer must have had at least one SLSA aircraft certified before offering a kit.  Additionally kit assembly instructions must be part of the supplied documentation from the manufacturer.  The checklist below is the same one I will be using so it would be a good idea to download it and you and a friend go through the aircraft in a critical way to see if there are any items that may not be satisfactory.  The checklists will help you in preparing your aircraft only if you check each item.  If it is on the checklist I WILL be checking it, so don't think you don't have to have it.   If you have any questions feel free to call or email me at: cposer@comcast.net and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
